Enduring Gifts Set a Good Example

One couple who stands out among our most generous members is Jerry and Linda Rutledge. Jerry is a native and lifelong resident of Waseca and retired CEO of Waseca Mutual Insurance Co. He is a current WCHS Board member, having served as President of the Board in 2008. He was part of the "crew" that renovated the Lewer house to transform it into the Bailey-Lewer Research Library. In 2007, he and his wife Linda, contributed and then challenged the community to participate in WCHS's first-ever capital campaign - to celebrate Waseca County's 150th Anniversary. And again, expressing their belief in the mission of WCHS, he and Linda provided for a $500,000 Charitable Remainder Fund to eventually benefit WCHS.

There are many members who support WCHS in different ways. We can connect you with the Waseca Area Foundation and the Minnesota Community Foundation to discuss your planned giving possibilities.
